Oral Health Public Awareness Campaign
The Delaware Disabilities Council (DDC) is pleased to announce their public awareness campaign aimed at improving the oral health of adults with developmental disabilities. The theme of the campaign is education, prevention and access. Did you know that adults with developmental disabilities have less comprehensive access to oral health care services than other adults? Check out this short video which was developed for the Delaware Developmental Disabilities Council’s (DDC) Oral Health Public Awareness Campaign. The campaign is focused on the lack of preventative dental care for adults with disabilities after the age of 21. Did you know that Medicaid does not pay for routine dental care after the age of 21?
